Letter: A neglected city

Whatever happened to our city services? Potholes, patched potholes, no community beautification maintenance I can see. Is Anchorage a dying city?

Our leaders spend more time focused on homelessness than other important issues in our city. The flowers and shrubbery that were planted by the city are being left to the weeds. Oh, we have a brand-new sanitation station, gee. Norman Street was finally repaired after it was almost undrivable for more years than I care to remember. Our streets are very dangerous, especially at night. Good people are leaving their communities and their city. How long can we continue doing this?
