The idea of solving our financial problems by offering chronic homeless sufferers one-way tickets anywhere they want intrigues me. While it might be cost-effective, it also means sending our problems to other communities.
But the idea set me thinking. Our mayor has been one big chronic problem since he took office. I’m thinking of offering him a one-way ticket out of town anywhere he wants. It might be cost-effective to get city employees who do the jobs we pay for and to save a bundle on continual lawsuits, but that might mean sending our problem to another community.
