Letter: Ideological politics go both ways

I’m confused. The Washington Post analysis on Sunday’s front page accused Republicans of abandoning the military and national security by adding ideological amendments to the bill that funds them. Not one breath of criticism of the Biden administration for making ideological changes the Republicans have tried to roll back. No criticism for the Democrats including our Rep. Mary Peltola for voting against that bill.

If some of us have to meekly accept, don’t all of us have to? Of course, the answer to that question is “no” — make that “no!” None of us have to meekly accept. Not Republicans. Not Democrats. This is a free country and that’s what freedom means.
