Letter: Remodel Inlet View

The Anchorage School District is still trying to rush through a rebuild of Inlet View School, avoiding the public process and using state money that is supposed to benefit the entire school district and all taxpayers. I am puzzled why ASD and the ASD School Board continue to ignore valid neighborhood input.

Why tear down an attractive, well-placed school and add a huge parking lot when a school remodels is a better value and less financially risky? The 2022 bond failed due to the Inlet View rebuild. I expected that the ASD Board would listen to the public and act as good stewards of our money: remodel Inlet View School.
