Letters to the Editor

Letter: No sales tax

If the state starts a statewide sales tax, it will never go away. The state will just keep spending it. Just like the Permanent Fund dividend. The state takes that money, and it’s gone for good.

The state needs to stop their foolish spending on what we don’t need. This isn’t California or New York. I don’t need fancy things — that’s one reason I moved here. If the state starts taking extra money from everyone, people will move out of state, and the few left will pick up the extra cost.
