Letter: We’re better than hatred

It sounds like the Professional Haters Association is back at it again. They want to protect the “integrity” of girls’ sports.

This is important because there are reports of a transgender girl playing sports in the past in an Alaska high school. There is no indication that she did any better than the rest of the girls, but it could happen, right? These are the same people who tried to make life miserable for transgender kids by not letting them use a bathroom in school.

Everybody from parents to school boards to senators to the governor are racing to get their licks in. This might sound obvious, but if we examine the phrase “transgender kids,” we can see that it ends in “kids.” Try to keep that in mind.
