Letter: Thankful for Medicaid

It occurs to me I have some apologies to make. A few months ago I wrote a rather sour letter about the Medicaid folk. I’m incredibly grateful we have Medicaid in our state. It was not always so. Those were dark times.

The people at the Medicaid office, I’m sure, are very dilligent in a rather thankless, never-ending job, and I thank them for their labor.

I think it was seeing my friend in such abject pain after major and exploratory surgery that made me so cutting.

Well, thanks, and thanks again, for the legislators who voted Medicaid in, and for those who keep it going.
