Letters to the Editor

Letter: Prosecutors’ diligence

What is the difference between prosecutors and public defenders? No prosecution office, under any circumstance, would refuse to pursue serious felony cases becauseof their nature or complexity.

I confidently can say, based on my experience as a former career prosecutor, that any chief prosecutor would be fired that penned a letter to a presiding judge stating that his or her office would do so. Thank you, prosecutors, and your support staff members, for your devoted service to your client, the people of Alaska.
