I volunteered and was a spectator at the U.S. Senior Women’s Golf Championship held at the Anchorage Golf Course July 30-Aug. 4. As a lifelong Alaska sports enthusiast, I applaud the organizers for an efficiently run event.
I want to also express how proud I am of all who were involved, especially the volunteers, golfers, the USGA, the groundskeepers and staff. Congratulations!
