Letter: Rehabilitation

It occurred to me that if inmates of correctional centers were trained for job positions that made good money, and were paid a commensurate scale inside prison, it might (should) help inmates see the direct connection between working and reward.

Also, it might keep parolees from recidivism, since they’d have enough for rent, food and clothes. Granted, there are some people who are criminals, born that way. But a lot of folks could benefit, and so could we.
