I totally fail to understand why so many otherwise good, loyal citizens still stick to the Trump mantra. The man is a many times proven liar, an egotistical egomaniac who will use any means to get his way. He has been rejected by nearly every court in the nation in his many legal filings. Thank goodness for our three-pronged system of government — executive, legislative and judicial.
Yes, our system has flaws and irregularities, and we should all be working to resolve them. But as Jay Hammond used to say, “The American system of democratic government is the very worst system in the world, except for all the rest.”
