June 24 will go down in history as the day the Supreme Court struck a blow for freedom — the freedom of politicians to bamboozle voters into investing their confidence in confidence men who claim that the lives of innocent fetuses are more important to them than political power. This court has upheld the rights of states to ban abortions, but not the rights of states to restrict concealed guns. I guess today’s mantra is “States’ rights? We don’t need no stinking states rights.”
