The gun lobby prefers to focus on government control and paranoia rather than what the Second Amendment actually says. The U.S. Constitution would support common-sense legislation that differentiates civilian and organized militia weapons, and who has access to these weapons. It is only a matter of electing legislators who will enact what the voters want.
