Letter: Police conundrum

Victims of police violence have nowhere to go for redress of legitimate complaints of unprovoked assaults by police officers. Complaints are investigated by police officers in the department who protect each other. Criminals in police uniforms don’t investigate each other. The Anchorage Police Department should acknowledge the correlation between police violence and violence against the police.
