Letter: Don’t pick Palin

At least this time, Sarah Palin seems to have found a position she is capable of finishing — one that lasts less than 6 months. However, she’ll have plenty of time to keep on embarrassing Alaska, for the sake of getting more publicity and attention.

I don’t understand this attitude. Just because we are the second-smallest population in the country, it doesn’t mean we need to keep on embarrassing this great state by electing people to the U.S. Congress who put themselves before Alaskans. We know Palin’s gig. We’ve seen it before. Please don’t let her embarrass Alaska again. There are so many other better-qualified and well-meaning candidates here than her.
