Letter: Work with rideshare drivers

I would like to see the leaders putting together the Fur Rondy and Iditarod events, etc., consider ride-share drivers in their future planning. We provide a community service delivering people and food to their destinations.

There weren’t any channels to provide these during these events. No access to the train station for the ride to Fairbanks.

Pickups from the airport had to be dropped off three blocks from the Captain Cook hotel to walk on a horribly icy sidewalk with their luggage. I gave up. The city wanted to sacrifice us? Then I will be the first martyr. We are the lifeblood, not just during a pandemic, but at all times, that keeps Anchorage flowing.
