Letter: Celebrate the Chugach

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Chugach State Park, all of us who recreate in the park, enjoy the mountain skyline, appreciate the wildlife and wildflowers, go berry picking, photograph moose in the fall, ski in winter, hike in summer, climb, bike, backpack, hang glide, paint, meditate and find solitude, quiet and joy there, owe a huge thank-you to those who made the Park possible, especially Sharon Cissna, whose energy supported the entire project.
