As of Jan. 3, less than a quarter of Alaska’s vaccine allocation had been administered. And the reason given by the state was, “… there’s a lot of planning that has to go into this.”
Of course there’s a lot of planning required, but it should have been done in September, October and November! Let’s just admit that the vaccine rollout was mishandled and move on.
