Letters to the Editor

Letter: Shame has a price

The vast majority of printed letters to the editor have expressed outrage about the fact that our illustrious governor, Mr. “Wannabe-Trump” Mike Dunleavy, cast the state’s support of the Texas lawsuit to overturn the election results in four key states. On Dec. 18, I read the first letter in support.

I’m afraid I can’t respond to the short letter in its entirety. However, one of the author’s justifications in support of the governor’s action is that it didn’t cost any of the state’s money. I ask him: “How do you put a monetary value on embarrassment?” That’s the instantaneous reaction I had when I read what he had done. I absolutely did not want to painted with that same brush.
