Letter: More farmers’ markets

Hello, I am Mae. I am 9 years old and I think that there should be more farmers markets in Anchorage.People need fresh produce in more accessible areas. Farmers markets are a good way to keep healthy and support local farmers.

To keep Alaskans healthy, we need to stop eating junk food and start eating the lovely fresh fruit and veggies that were actually grown here, not on some farm half the world away that sprays pesticides on their crops every day.

Fresh food keeps us healthy and strong. We need more farmers markets so people will have healthy bodies as opposed to dying ones.
