For years, U.S. intelligence agencies have warned officials that Russian and Iranian operatives have been spreading disinformation online in order to erode trust in the American electoral process and confidence in our democratic systems.
Now, it would appear that their most potent ally in this effort has been residing in the White House for the past four years. Vladimir Putin must be supremely pleased with the recent behavior of his most effective operative.
