Letters to the Editor

Letter: Character matters

Honesty is a facet of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, straightforwardness, including straightforwardness of conduct, along with the absence of lying, cheating, theft, etc. Honesty also involves being trustworthy, loyal, fair and sincere.

Dan Sullivan is not an honest man. A simple fact-check of the claims in any of his ads; either of his accomplishments, or in his criticisms of Dr. Al Gross, reveals Sullivan’s transparent and fundamental dishonesty. It baffles and angers me that these ads are allowed on television, in print and in other media. Character in our leaders matters perhaps more now than ever. Dishonest Dan Sullivan does not deserve our votes.
