I agree with John Suter that the statue of James Cook should be removed at Resolution Park in Anchorage. After all, this statue reminds everybody that he was killed and eaten by the locals in Hawaii.
But I disagree with the replacement Suter is proposing — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I have a better candidate, W.E.B. Du Bois. True, he was a communist, but so are many of today’s rioters.
