Letter: After the apocalypse

The recent commentary by Robert LeResche and Elstun Lauesen was spot on. These men are very experienced as to what has caused the financial shortfall of Alaska.

The state's failure to adhere to Article VIII of our State Constitution has cost us $50 billion to $75 billion. It is suggested we realign our pricing and tax policy with very clear steps to accomplish this. They are outlined by LeResche and Lauesen. It appears our Legislature has sold us down the river Please let this not fall on deaf ears.
