Costs:
Juneau State House: $1.1 million.
Juneau with Anchorage House and Senate Committees: $855,000.
Wasilla Middle School: $1.3 million.
Accessibility:
Juneau: Teleconferencing infrastructure for remote access to lawmakers, local population 32,000, with public transportation.
Juneau/Anchorage hybrid: Teleconferencing infrastructure plus local populations of of 323,000, with public transportation at both locations.
Wasilla: Local population of 7,800 — No teleconference infrastructure, no public transportation.
This is the governor who campaigned on listening to what Alaskans want and saving us money.
