Often, it seems hard times are when our friends and neighbors step up for us. Whether it’s a big earthquake, a pandemic or a major snowstorm, our fellow Alaskans are there when we need them — sometimes before we even realize we need it.
We want to recognize those acts of neighborliness, big and small, that make this a great place to live. Has someone pulled your car out of a snowbank? Helped watch your kids so you can go to work on a snow day? Shoveled away the berm at the end of your driveway? Send us a letter and tell us about it. You can email us at letters@adn.com or fill out the letters form on our website.
Thanks for your letters, and for being good neighbors.
