People walk past "Measure of a Warrior" on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, the third place finisher in the Crystal Gallery of Ice. The sculpture was created by Keven Laughlin and Mark Chapin for the annual ice-carving competition hosted by the Anchorage Downtown Partnership at Town Square Park. Carvers began work on Friday and transformed ice into art for Sunday's judging.
