Anchorage's Zoe Hickel gets her first pro gig

Last time we checked in with winger Zoe Hickel of Anchorage, she won a gold medal with Team USA at the Women's World Championships earlier this year.

Now, Hickel has picked a place to begin her pro career -- she's hooking up with the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League.

Hickel, who also owns a U-18 world championship silver medal, delivered a strong four-year career at Minnesota-Duluth, and bagged 19 goals as a year this past season.

One of Hickel's teammates will be forward Jordan Smelker, as AKhockey.com kindly pointed out.

Anyhow, check out the press release from the NWHL for more.
