Daon Jones nailed the go-ahead 3-pointer from the corner in the final seconds and top-seeded East defeated No. 3 Bartlett 72-71 to repeat as Cook Inlet Conference champions Saturday at West High.

The Thunderbirds led big at halftime, 41-29, but Bartlett battled back to make it close at the end.
