Kenny's Kitchen has a dream location: in the bustling Tikahtnu Commons shopping center and just a few hundred yards away from the JBER gate at the end of Muldoon Road. You'd have to be pretty lazy not to do well with this many shoppers, moviegoers and military personnel milling about, waiting to be fed.
This restaurant works hard, and it succeeds. Not as high-end Asian fusion or gummy, super-cheap American-style grub, but with what the sign calls "Chinese Comfort Food." That about sums it up -- two visits to the eatery felt like visiting a friend and being fed by his grandmom.
