‘Weird Al’ Yankovic set to perform at 2025 Alaska State Fair

Pop culture parody prince “Weird Al” Yankovic is set to perform at the 2025 Alaska State Fair.

Yankovic, scheduled to perform Sunday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m., was announced Monday by the fair as the first main stage performer for 2025.

Yankovic is well known for his parody songs like “Eat It,” “Like a Surgeon,” “Smells Like Nirvana,” “Amish Paradise” and “White & Nerdy.”

Yankovic has been awarded five Grammys, recorded 10 albums that have gone gold or platinum, acted on film and TV, and authored the book “When I Grow Up.”

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. AKDT at alaskastatefair.org.
