The Alaska State Fair on Thursday announced that rapper and actor Ludacris will join the concert lineup for the 2024 fair.
Tickets for the Friday, Aug. 23, show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Chris “Ludacris” Bridges dominated the rap charts in the early 2000s and has starred in the “Fast and Furious” movie franchise. He also joined Usher and numerous other musicians on the halftime show stage during last weekend’s Super Bowl, teaming with the headliner and Lil Jon on the 2004 club anthem “Yeah!”
Ludacris has sold more than 24 million albums worldwide, bolstered by singles including “Stand Up,” “Get Back,” “Southern Hospitality,” “Number One Spot,” “Money Maker” and “My Chick Bad.” He also created the animated series “Karma’s World” and The Ludacris Foundation.
He joins previously announced concerts for the 2024 fair including Oliver Anthony, Whiskey Myers, Mt. Joy and Kolohe Kai.
