3 things to do in Anchorage this weekend

U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships

10 a.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. Sunday; Kincaid Park, 9401 Raspberry Road

The U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships return to Anchorage for the first time since 2018. A number of local skiers will compete for the top spot on the podium with races Saturday and Sunday. Food vendors will be on site during race days.

Candlelight Concert, ABBA vs. Queen

8:30 p.m. Sunday; 49th State Brewing, 717 W. Third Ave.

The Listeso String Quartet will play the music of two favorites — Queen and ABBA — in this intimate show. Tickets are $38/$52.

First Friday

Anchorage Museum: There’s an Art Swap in the Art Lab, an opportunity to give old art supplies a new life. Check out the Planetarium or join in gallery talks on Tlingit and Athabascan clothing and ornamentation, guided meditation or sea otters, northern fur seals and arctic foxes.
