Rock the Hill
6 p.m. Friday; Hilltop Ski Area, 7015 Abbott Road
This one-day music festival at Hilltop Ski Area features Blackwater Railroad Company, The Jangle Bees and Zane Penny, plus local beer and food. Extra parking is available at Service High School with shuttle service from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and a bike valet will also be on site for those preferring to ride in. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 day of the festival, and admission is free for youths 12 and under.
We Are Anchorage Multicultural Festival
1 p.m. Saturday; Town Square Park, 551 W. Sixth Ave.
This free event features cultural performances — including Polynesian and Persian dancing, clogging and taekwondo demonstrations — vendors, food trucks and plenty of live entertainment, capped with a concert by the Plain White T’s.
Anchorage Chamber Music Festival

Now in its 12th season, this festival already kicked off earlier this week, but there’s plenty left to see and hear. This year’s Ted Stevens Young Alaskan Artist Award winner, tenor Luke Honek, performs Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the UAA Recital Hall. The festival schedule includes a house concert on Friday, romantic piano duets on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the UAA Recital Hall and more house concerts next week. Jurassic Empire

Tickets for this family-friendly dinosaur walk-through exhibit are available in two-hour increments starting at 10 a.m. Experiencing the exhibit takes anywhere from 20 minutes to more than an hour. Tickets are $24.
Taste of Spenard
Noon-5 p.m. Sunday; 1100 W. Fireweed Lane
Each month in the summer, there’s an opportunity to get the best that Spenard has to offer. The Koot’s parking lot will have live music, food trucks, farmers and wellness market vendors and a beer garden.
