In a time-honored tradition of passing the colors from one commander to another, Col. Michael “Jody” Shouse assumed command of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, from outgoing commander Col. Christopher S. Landers during a change of command ceremony at Pershing Field on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson on Thursday.
“I’m excited to be here and serve with these young men and women,” said Col. Shouse. “They are our nation’s best.”
