A Wasilla woman who had been missing for almost two weeks was found dead Friday evening in Houston, Alaska State Troopers say.
Shelly Ingram, 43, was last seen in Wasilla on Aug. 4. The next day, the day she was reported missing, her cellphone pinged off a cell tower located near Mile 59 of the Parks Highway, around Zero Lake Park, troopers said.
Her body was found in Houston around 8 p.m. Friday. Troopers did not specify where exactly her body was found, but said no foul play is suspected in her death.
Ingram’s body was taken to the state medical examiner.
