One driver was killed and one person was hospitalized Friday afternoon following a three-car collision in Wasilla, according to Mat-Su emergency officials.
Ken Barkley, deputy director of emergency services for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, said the crash on Wampam Circle, off Wasilla-Fishhook Road, was first reported at about 1:15 p.m. One driver was declared dead at the scene, and medics took one patient to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.
There wasn't immediate word on how many people had been in the vehicles involved.
