Alaska State Troopers say a Fairbanks motorcyclist died Tuesday after a collision with a car.
The 1994 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2007 Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Loftus and Geist roads around 7:40 a.m., troopers said.
Both drivers were brought to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for injuries. Troopers said 50-year-old Adam Newbold died at the hospital. He was not wearing a helmet, authorities said.
The cause of the collision was still under investigation, troopers said.
