Anchorage police on Tuesday identified a 30-year-old man who was shot to death outside a downtown bar over the weekend.

Police in an update said Tahjeay Baldwin was pronounced dead at a hospital after he was shot around 2:40 a.m. Sunday on the 700 block of West Fourth Avenue. Another man was critically wounded, they said.

Police said there were no additional people they described as “suspects” and who may have been involved in the shooting. Department spokeswoman Renee Oistad did not answer additional questions Tuesday, including whether the men hit by gunfire shot at each other, or if the wounded man was still hospitalized.

No charges were filed by Tuesday, she said.

The shooting took place outside The Gaslight Lounge, directly across from police headquarters, bar owner John Pattee told a reporter Sunday. He said six people who appeared to know each other could be seen on surveillance footage outside the bar getting into an argument that resulted in two men firing shots.
