Man exposed himself on commercial flight from King Salmon to Anchorage, charges say

A man exposed himself on an Alaska Airlines flight from King Salmon to Anchorage on Friday, federal charges filed against him say.

Three passengers reported to flight attendants during the flight that Kevin James III, 33, was exposing and fondling himself during the flight, according to a probable cause statement written by an FBI agent.

Police met the plane in Anchorage and James was interviewed, it said. He denied exposing himself and told officers he blacked out on the plane, the statement said.

James was arrested on a misdemeanor offense of indecent exposure on an aircraft. While he was being booked at the Anchorage Correctional Complex, he returned a blood alcohol reading of .13%, the statement said.

James remained in custody Tuesday morning and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. The FBI statement did not provide James’ hometown.
