A Fairbanks woman who police say fatally stabbed two people in November has been indicted by a grand jury.

Lindsey Lee Preshaw, 36, is accused of fatally stabbing John Thomas Preshaw III on Nov. 28. Police say that Fairbanks dispatchers got a report on an unconscious man bleeding at a residence around 6 a.m. that day. Police and medics arrived to find John Preshaw dead.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports reports that Preshaw had stabbed same victim, described as both her stepbrother and the father of her two children, in 2013.

Preshaw is also being charged in the stabbing death of Jeannette Elaine Miller, who police say was stabbed to death on Nov. 27.

Preshaw faces an additional assault charge against a third victim, a man.

Preshaw has been in custody since Nov. 30. Her bail was set at $1 million performance bond. Should she make bail, the judge ordered she have court-approved pre-trial supervision.

Preshaw was indicted Friday in Fairbanks Superior Court with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of assault in the third degree.
