Police were  called to a home on the 8800 block of McClellan Circle, in a neighborhood near Dimond High School, at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday for a reported shooting.

A "female juvenile" was taken to the hospital with "non-life threatening" injuries, the Anchorage Police Department said in a statement.

The victim was shot inside the house, police said. A police spokesperson did not immediately respond to questions about whether the shooting appeared to be accidental or not, or the victim's age.

Two people were being questioned by detectives as of 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

"There is no suspect search at this time. This is an isolated incident and not random," police said.
