Watch: Alaska Air Cargo unveils Boeing 737-700 freighter in Anchorage

Alaska Airlines unveiled a next-generation Boeing 737-700 freighter jet at its Anchorage cargo facility on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017. It's the first of three 737-700 freighters to be converted from passenger aircraft specifically for Alaska Air Cargo. The jets are expected to increase cargo capacity to Alaska communities by 15 percent.The new aircraft will replace five Boeing 737 passenger-cargo "combi" aircraft and one 737-400 freighter, all scheduled to end service at the end of the year.
