The southbound lanes of Boniface Parkway from 26th Avenue to Northern Lights Boulevard will be closed most of the day because of a traffic accident this morning.
Northbound lanes were closed this morning but are now open.
Anchorage Police Department spokesperson Anita Shell advised drivers to avoid the area for the rest of the day.
The car hit a power pole at 5:40 this morning. No one was injured, according to Shell.
