Former municipal manager Amy Demboski, who was fired last month by Anchorage Mayor Dave Bronson, is accusing him of violating city, state and federal laws, blatant sexism, unlawful contracting and other unethical behavior.
Her allegations were detailed in a letter threatening legal action against Bronson that was sent to city leaders Wednesday afternoon. She accused the mayor of illegally firing her in retaliation for “attempting to convince (Bronson) to cease unlawful and unethical activities using municipal resources.” Bronson’s office said the mayor wasn’t commenting on the letter.
