Friday’s commute looked a bit different as bicyclists took to Anchorage’s streets and trails to celebrate National Bike to Work Day.
The annual event was founded by the League of American Bicyclists and is observed in towns across the nation to promote health and community. In Anchorage, the event is organized by the city’s Health Department and Bike Anchorage, a biking advocacy and education group.
