A person driving a motorcycle died at a C Street and O’Malley roundabout in Anchorage Sunday evening, Anchorage police wrote in an online report.
At 7:11 p.m., patrol officers responded to a single motorcycle collision in the Bayshore/Klatt neighborhood, police wrote. Their preliminary investigation indicated that a motorcycle was traveling southbound on C street and lost control in a roundabout at O’Malley Road, police wrote. The driver was deceased at the scene.
The victim’s name will not be released until next of kin procedures have been completed. As of 9 p.m. Sunday, both C Street roundabouts remained closed while officers processed the scene.
