Two people — one in Midtown and another in Fairview — were hospitalized after being hit by cars in the span of an hour on Monday afternoon.
At 3:38 p.m. Monday, Anchorage police responded to an incident near Sixth Avenue and Ingra Street, where a pedestrian and car collided. The victim in the accident was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive his injuries, police said.
Less than hour later, At 4:32 p.m. Monday, Anchorage police responded to a “vehicle versus pedestrian collision,” near Northern Lights Boulevard and Cheechako Street. The victim was taken to a hospital but their condition was unknown Monday afternoon, police said.
The Anchorage Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for details regarding the two incidents.
