Today, the Acting Mayor is announcing a new Emergency Order in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Anchorage Acting Mayor Austin Quinn-Davidson will announce a new pandemic emergency order in a community briefing at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The mayor will be joined by Heather Harris, Director, Anchorage Health Department (AHD); Janet Johnston, PhD, Epidemiologist, AHD; Tom Hennessy, MD, MPH, medical doctor and infectious disease epidemiologist, University of Alaska-Anchorage (UAA) College of Health; and Kevin Berry, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Economics, UAA.

Also available will be Kate Vogel, Municipal Attorney; Chris Schutte, Director, Office of Economic and Community Development; and Bruce Chandler, MD, MPH, Medical Officer, Anchorage Health Department.
