The Sand Lake substation was brought back online and power was restored after an outage of about an hour, Chugach Electric Association tweeted at about 7:50 a.m.

More than 6,000 Chugach Electric customers are without power fed by a substation at Sand Lake, the utility says.
“The high winds are likely to make this a busy day,” Chugach said in a Twitter post Tuesday morning.
A smaller outage was affecting areas around Campbell Airstrip, Chugach Electric tweeted. An outage map shows a little over 250 customers without power.
Crews were en route to both areas. Most of the outages were reported just after 6 a.m., the map shows. The time power was expected to be restored was listed as just after 9 a.m.
We have over 6,000 members without power fed by the Sand Lake substation. There is a smaller outage in the area around Campbell Airstrip. Linemen on the way in. Updates will be provided when there is new information. The high winds are likely to make this a busy day.
